Inside Out, the highly anticipated new release from Disney Pixar, will open in cinemas nationwide next Friday (June 19th).The film has received huge critical acclaim from critics for it’s unique and original storyline and high quality animation. Indeed, it was one of the most talked about releases at this year's Cannes film festival.
The plot revolves around Riley an 11-year-old girl and the varying emotions inside her head that influence her adjustment to her new home in the American Mid-West.
The film is expected to become a box-office smash. It's already one of the biggest films of the Summer in terms of critical praise as it currently scores an 89% approval rate on Rotten Tomatoes with critics gushing about film's concept. Peter Debruge of Variety was effusive, calling it the studio's "greatest idea" and "a stunningly original concept that promises to forever change the way people think about the way people think”. Quite the high praise for a film studio with such a stellar record.
