Jurassic World: A Roaring Success
Jurassic World has roared itself into cinemas and smashed box office records in the process.
The long-awaited fourth installment in the film series first conceived by Steven Spielberg in the 90s has already been a resounding success. It could even become the highest grossing film of all time.
The dinosaur disaster film has obliterated the record for biggest ever opening weekend worldwide. The film, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, became the first film to earn more than $500m in an opening weekend. The previous occupant was Marvel's Avengers Assemble.
The film's release hasn't gone unnoticed here at Wall Decals as our best selling wall sticker this month has been our great 3d Jurassic Park dinosaur decal. Just like the early 90s all over again, kids are going dinosaur mad.
Our great decal (as pictured above) features fearsome favourites such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex (or T. Rex.) and the Velociraptor.
Like all our wall stickers, this 3d creature feature is easily applied and easily removed. For instructions read here.
But much like the original film, it's not just kids who are getting caught up in the prehistoric hype. Zookeepers from all over the world are sharing images of themselves recreating perhaps the film's most iconic scene. And their pictures are going viral.
The particular scene occurs when the main character Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) enters the Velociraptor enclosure and tries to calm the dinos down. If the online reaction is anything to go by then this scene could become as notable as the famous shaking glass scene from the first Jurassic Park movie.
